Howse Williams Bowers ("HWB"), a leading Hong Kong independent law firm, acted as the legal adviser to the sole sponsor and the underwriters in relation to the up to HK$253 million (upon the exercise of the over-allotment option) global offering and listing of Chuan Holdings Limited (Stock Code: 1420) ("Chuan Holdings") on the Main Board of the Stock Exchange. VBG Capital Limited acted as the sole sponsor while Pacific Foundation Securities Limited and VBG Capital Limited acted as the joint global coordinators, joint bookrunners and joint lead managers. The shares commenced trading on the Main Board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange on 8 June 2016.

Chuan Holdings was one of the top five earthworks contractors (by revenue) for the construction industry in Singapore in 2014. They also provide general construction works including addition and alteration works and the construction of new buildings in Singapore.

The HWB team, led by partner Chia Ching Tan, had lead responsibility in the verification process, legal documentation, corporate and regulatory issues and general transaction management.

Howse Williams Bowers ("HWB"), a leading Hong Kong independent law firm, on 30 May 2016, advised Dafeng Port Heshun Technology Company Limited ("Dafeng Port Heshun"), a company the shares of which are listed on GEM, on the completion of its HK$97 million placing of new shares. The placing agent was KGI Asia Limited.

Dafeng Port Heshun is principally engaged in providing integrated logistics freight services with a primary focus on logistics services between Hong Kong and the Pearl River Delta region.

The HWB team was led by corporate partner, Brian Ho. The team had lead responsibility for legal documentation and general transaction management.

Howse Williams Bowers ("HWB"), a leading Hong Kong independent law firm, acted as the legal adviser to the sponsor and the underwriters in relation to the listing of A.Plus Group Holdings Limited (Stock Code: 8251) on the Growth Enterprise Market of the Stock Exchange by way of placing. Altus Capital Limited acted as the sponsor while Upbest Securities Company Limited and Altus Investments Limited acted as the underwriters. The shares commenced trading on the Growth Enterprise Market of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange on 19 April 2016.

A.Plus Group Holdings Limited and its subsidiaries are a Hong Kong-based financial printing service provider in relation to financial reports, announcements, shareholder circulars, debt offering circulars, IPO prospectuses and fund documents. It is the third financial printing service provider to have listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange so far.

The HWB team, led by partner Chia Ching Tan, had lead responsibility for the legal documentation, regulatory issues and the verification process and the general transaction.

On other related news, Ms. Tan has also acted in the following corporate transactions in the recent quarter:

• Acted for Deson Construction International Holdings Limited (stock code: 8268) in the approximately HK$30 million placing of convertible bonds under general mandate.

• Acted for Deson Development International Holdings Limited (stock code: 262) in the approximately HK$100 million open offer of new shares.

• Acted for Tianneng Power International Holdings Limited (stock code: 819) in the spin-off proposal to the Hong Kong Stock Exchange relating to the spin-off and proposed quotation of its subsidiary, Zhejiang Tianneng Energy Technology Co., Ltd. on the National Equities Exchange and Quotation System (commonly known as the New Third Board).
