Howse Williams Bowers ("HWB"), a leading Hong Kong independent law firm, advised STI Financial Group on the acquisition of a significant minority interest in a Singaporean based fund management platform. STI Financial Group is an asset management firm that specializes in hedge funds management, private equity investments and structured product management.

The HWB team was led by partner, Christopher Yu and assisted by associates, Stephen Leung and Garrick Ho. The team had lead responsibility on the review of legal documentation, providing advice on commercial issues and undertaking general transaction management. In the space of the last twelve months, the HWB corporate team has successfully completed a series of private equity and family office investments/exits in the fintech, sports and recreations, travel and leisure, media, commercial properties, education and tech industries.
