HWB advises Huarong Investment Stock Corporation Limited

Howse Williams Bowers ("HWB"), a leading Hong Kong independent law firm, advised Star Lavish Limited, an indirect wholly-owned subsidiary of Huarong Investment Stock Corporation Limited ("Huarong"), as investor on the subscription of bonds, issued by Superactive Group Company Limited (Stock Code: 0176), whose shares are listed on the Main Board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange ("Superactive"), as the Hong Kong legal counsel. The principal amount of the bonds issued by Superactive is HK$300,000,000. 

Huarong and its subsidiaries are principally engaged in direct investments; financial services and others; and foundation and substructure construction services. Superactive and its subsidiaries are principally engaged in the business of manufacturing of consumer electronic products; money lending business and the provision of regulated financial service activities in Hong Kong and the provision of nursery education service and property development in the People’s Republic of China.

The HWB team was led by partner, Antony Yung and assisted by associate, Sonya Mahbubani and trainee solicitor, Lydia Wong. The team had the lead responsibility on legal documentation, advising on corporate and regulatory issues and undertaking general transaction management.
