HWB advises on the first ever IPO of a PRC investment fund manager approved by the CSRC to list outside of the PRC

Howse Williams Bowers ("HWB"), a leading Hong Kong independent law firm, advised Shanghai Realway Capital Assets Management Co., Ltd. (Stock Code: 1835) ("Realway Capital" or the "Company") as the Hong Kong legal counsel on the approximately HK$191.7 million listing of the shares on the Main Board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. Alliance Capital Partners Limited acted as the sole sponsor while Alliance Capital Partners Limited and Yue Xiu Securities Company Limited acted as the joint global coordinators. The shares commenced trading on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange on 13 November 2018.

Realway Capital is the first investment fund manager to obtain approval for the issuance of H-Shares by the China Securities Regulatory Commission of the PRC. Realway Capital is an investment fund managers specialising in the management of real estate investment funds in the PRC and was the 10th largest real estate investment fund manager in China as at 31 December 2017. Realway Capital's funds portfolio covers commercial real estate projects, distressed assets projects and urbanisation and redevelopment projects.

HWB is proud to work with Realway Capital in making today an important milestone for the Company and PRC investment management industry.

The HWB team was led by partner, Christopher Yu. The team had lead responsibility on drafting of listing documents, legal documentation, providing advice on corporate and regulatory issues and undertaking general transaction management.
